Daxton grew up in Southern Utah, spending much of his childhood at the old airport on the mesa where his dad flew for SkyWest Airlines. Surrounded by aviation from an early age, his passion for flying was sparked long before his first logbook entry.
After studying Marine Biology at BYU-Hawaii, Daxton decided to change course and pursue an aviation career. His long-term goal is to fly international widebody routes for a legacy carrier.
He earned his CFI rating in April 2023 and has since accumulated over 1,000 hours of dual given. Known for being a thorough and dedicated instructor, Daxton takes pride in student success, with 90% of his students passing their checkrides on the first attempt.
Daxton is excited to be instructing out of Hangar 47 and looks forward to helping aspiring pilots take the first steps toward their aviation dreams.
