Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the iFly SGU website at www.iflysgu.com and our flight-logging, scheduling, and payment portal (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, booking an aircraft, or using the Services, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
iFly SGU (“iFly SGU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a flight school based at Hangar 47, Hurricane Municipal Airport (1L8), 748 West 2300 South, Hurricane, UT 84737. You can reach us any time at pilot@iflysgu.com or (435) 288-2012.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Some features — including aircraft scheduling, flight logging, and payments — require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account.
3. Bookings, rentals, and instruction
The Services let you reserve aircraft and instructional time. A reservation is a request to use an aircraft or instructor at a scheduled time; final dispatch is subject to aircraft availability, maintenance status, weather, instructor availability, and our operational discretion. Aircraft may be taken out of service for maintenance at any time, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected reservations.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and with our operating rules, checkout requirements, and safety procedures.
4. Payments and billing
Flight time, rentals, instruction, and related charges are billed through the Services. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our servers. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge it for amounts you incur, including flight time calculated from recorded Hobbs/tach readings, applicable taxes, and fees. Disputed charges should be raised with us promptly so we can review them.
5. SMS / text messaging program
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, iFly SGU may send you account- and operations-related text messages. The program covers messages such as:
- Flight log receipts and billing confirmations
- Booking confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes
- Aircraft maintenance, squawk, and out-of-service notices
- Operational notices and NOTAM-style safety alerts
- Account and dispatch-related notifications
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and reservations. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and then stop sending messages. To resume, reply START.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at pilot@iflysgu.com or (435) 288-2012. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services — including attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfering with the system’s operation, uploading unlawful content, or using the Services in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, our operations, or safety.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibilities under applicable aviation safety regulations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, iFly SGU will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or portal.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
